Welcome to DredSkye. I'm a single person shop in a very niche market, supporting our small community with dedication and my reputation on the line. If you have a problem with a product I designed or sold you, best thing you can do is reach out. Every email account here goes to me - so whether it goes to sales or support or info or even to just to my first name, that's me. I'll do my best to make things right.
I do have a few legal terms and conditions just to cover the basics, but in general be cool and you'll get cool service. Please don't be a jerk, fly legally, and be kind.

Shipping & Handling: I ship via USPS and in the US only for now with a flat rate shipping & handling fee. I try to get orders out of in-stock products same day, or next day. You'll get a tracking number the same day I ship. Almost everything goes out USPS Ground Advantage with automatic $100 insurance and tracking. If you'd like to purchase additional insurance, it's available in $100 increments. Contact me in advance if you'd like to buy additional shipping coverage. Once your product is in their hands, there's little I can do about it. Wrong address? Return service from USPS can take months. Please double check your shipping address so neither of us get frustrated!

Returns & Refunds: I can accept a returns of unopened products within 30 days of your order. If you've opened it for inspection only, I reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 20%, though I may waive this upon inspection of the return. Many of my products are kits or items used to assemble drones that requires soldering. I know we'd all like to think we're experts, but mistakes happen. As a small community supported shop - please don't ask me to pay for your mistakes. The minute you touch a board with solder I can't accept a return - so make sure to test things like flight controllers by plugging them into BetaFlight before soldering. If you think you have a factory defective unit, I will attempt to facilitate a warranty return or repair to the original manufacturer, but I cannot guarantee their willingness or quality of service. Most of the electronics we use in this hobby comes direct from China with no warrantees at all. This is a cost of the hobby that you bear when you're building your own equipment from parts!
- Services Refunds: I cannot accept returns/refund requests for services rendered. I test all of my work before delivery. I'll maintain a video archive of drone builds being tested, and many times you'll have the initial flight videos on the air unit. If something goes wrong after my test flights, I'll try to help you as best I can but everything is guaranteed to have been working before it left the shop. Anything from first plugin and beyond is your responsibility. Services like 3D printing special order items are non-refundable once the order is shipped.
- 3D Prints: I cannot accept returns of used or broken 3D prints of off the shelf parts. 3D printed parts are consumables; we fly hard and break things all the time. Order extras and/or grab a decent 3D printer for a few hundred dollars - they're essential in our hobby! All of the prints for DredSkye quads are available as STLs from Thingiverse.
- Chargebacks and non-refundable Fees: I will work with you every reasonable way to solve any problem you come across with your build or order. However, I cannot refund shipping fees, return shipping costs, certain credit card fees that are not canceled after refunds, etc. If a chargeback is initiated on any product or service order, we'll simply and kindly part ways and cease doing business with each other. No drama.
- NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. I am not responsible for how you use your drone, and make no claims of readiness, fitness, safety, compliance with FAA regulations, or any other claim. You are solely responsible for making sure your flights and drones are legal and you indemnify and hold us harmless of any and all claims related to your use of products we sell or build. You are responsible for ensuring your drone can be safely operated under all FAA regulations, including Part 107 Category 1 operations.
- Privacy & Data: When you place an order, I collect the information needed to process and ship it — your name, address, email, and payment details. That's it. I don't sell your information, I don't share it with third parties beyond what's needed to fulfill your order (like USPS for shipping), and I don't use it to spam you. You can opt to sign up for my email list if you want to hear about new products or services. If you have questions about your data, just email me.
- Governing Law: DredSkye LLC is based in Georgia, and any disputes arising from a purchase or use of our products or services are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. By purchasing from DredSkye, you agree that any legal disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than litigation in court, in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia.
- Age Requirement: By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or have the legal authority to enter into a purchase agreement in your jurisdiction.
- Export Controls: I currently ship within the United States only. Many of the components used in FPV drone builds — flight controllers, video transmission systems, and related electronics — may be subject to US export control regulations. By purchasing from DredSkye you confirm that you are located in the US and that your purchase complies with all applicable federal regulations. If you're outside the US, I'm not your shop — at least not yet!
- FCC Compliance: Some components available through DredSkye, including video transmitters and radio systems, may not carry FCC certification for operation in the United States. By purchasing, you acknowledge that you are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable FCC regulations governing the operation of radio frequency devices. DredSkye makes no representations or warranties regarding the FCC compliance status of any component we sell or include in build kits.
